Japan drums up robot support

An expo in Aichi, Japan, has been opened by The Japan Robot Associationto exhibit new robots used for everyday purposes, such as entertainment, medical services, and scientific endeavors.  There has even been a robot developer successful in creating a robotic tour guide identical to a woman, with skin-like material, and realistic body animation.

(Before reading 10 minutes later that the above "lady" was a robot, I had a unsure feeling in my stomach about her emotionless eyes, and about that being a woman)

Other examples of robot technology includes a fish with comically oversized eyeballs.    It serves a serious purpose.  To gather information about the safety of bridges, and fish population of aquatic environments.  Most of the robots at the expo have had glitches in programming, since the majority are in the programming phase of developing. 

Aww, how cute.  NO!!  WE DO NOT NEED REALISTIC HUMAN ROBOTS!!  What's next?  Android human augmentations for maximum killing effectiveness?!  That is just way too freaking creepy. 

Other than that, I think most of the robots seem to host cute, novelty purposes, such as the healthbot (i have named it due to the fact i due to the fact i do not like the name, optical-tongue robot).  As wonderful as these innivations seem, they really need to incorporate lower prices to actually make this robots popular mainstream sales.  A robot filled future does not look too successful right now.  Maybe in a couple years, the technology will take off with rising technology, but for now, the market is not fit.

It closed out a journal entry I'd written.  Shizzle.  Anywayz, yeah I'm pissed.  I have seven more assignments due in this class, and there's still too much to do.

Every day I can't just sit here and work, it's too boring, too constricting.  I feel like an invsible anvil has been placed on my head, and my neck is straining to stay awake.  The strain symbolizes effort, the anvil, laziness, boredom, and sleeping.

We do this thingy where we type a to z down, and writing stuff down for each of the letters for a category.  We try to get as much as possible within an alloted time.  I still haven't gotten any candy...  And that makes me sad.  I had gym class.  It's hot as like an oven out there.....  And we still lost with the good people on our team..  It's a really hard blow to my confidence...  I hit good though.

I'm sitting here in Vanemon's, supposed to be doing osme work, but this is an assignment too.  Well, I can't say I have anything really to say. 

AHH!  I hate this class because the people are really annoying.  Some of the people are nice to me, but the others are...  Just kind of loud and annoying. 

We're doing an excel document to basically teach us in repetition how to use excel's various formatting techniques and applying them to situations.  We are doing a bank record, if we supposedly won $10,000 a month from a lottery, buying things, and using excel to autmoatically format things like decimal places, dates, and whatnot.

So far, I find it useful.
